The goal of this page is not to give in depth details on every single area or body of water to be fished in Yosemite, but to give you a feel for the type of area and water that this amazing National Park has to offer. 

Section 1

One of the many lakes in Section 2, expect to hike.
A beautiful Brookie creek in Section 2
Medium sized creek that holds many different species of trout
The main river is Section 2 is the Merced River

Tight back country creek that holds 12+ inch trout

Section 3

Fly fishing waters South of the Merced River
The largest river in Section 3 is the South Fork of the Merced
Ostrander Lake is the only day hiking lake in Section 3
Section 3 has a lot of exciting and beautiful creeks to fly fish
Section 3 is full of great creeks, some with 15+ inch trout
There are many beautiful & rich back country lakes in Section 3
